Clerical Job Skills Training

This eighteen-week program is geared towards advanced English as a Second Language (ESL), or native English speakers with keyboard knowledge and office experience, who need to brush-up on their clerical skills.  Students are trained for typist, office clerk and administrative assistant positions.

There is a maximum of 630 instructional hours in the following classes:

·         Business Math I, II                      

·         Business English I, II, III            

·         Keyboarding/Typing        

·         Filing                    

·         10-Key Calculator            

·         Computer Skills   

·         Bookkeeping                    

·         Office Simulation            

·         Job Preparation                

·         Interview Skills

(MLVS), is a private non-profit institution, is in compliance with minimum state standards, and is granted institutional approval to operate by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education pursuant to the California Education Code, Sections 94909(a)(2) and 94897(l).
